Kelly Scott graduated from Christina Phipps Oncology Yoga training on October 4, 2026.

In Her words, "I received a Bachelor of Science degree focusing heavily on family counseling from Suffolk University, Boston, Ma. At the present time, I am a

volunteer at Community Hospice & Palliative care for 29 years.

Yoga Legacy

I received my 200-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Certification at Kripalu Center For Yoga and Health in Massachusetts. I taught Hatha yoga for over 20 years. I had the opportunities to study with Lilias Folan, "The First Lady of Yoga" and Rodney Yee, a world renowned pioneer yoga teacher. However, it all started with inspiration from my mother, who was a yoga teacher.

Gratitude Through Yoga

Yoga practice has been my ally. Giving me support and a source of strength that stands by through life's challenges. Between being a Hospice volunteer and a yoga teacher, my gratitude for those two gifts have been so profound.

Chair Yoga

I look forward to teaching and becoming an oncology chair yoga teacher. It will be a honor and a privilege to be a part of Christina Phipps Foundation. I believe that yoga creates a calm mind, a strong body and an open heart. Everyone should have that opportunity."
