Kristin Lothman speaks at Mayo

Kristin Lothman, MSW, LCSW is a member of the CPF Board of Directors. She worked hard to bring CPF Oncology Yoga Teacher Training to Mayo on August 24 and 25, 2024. It was the largest training to date in a gorgeous room. Her presentation, entitled The Psychosocial Impact of Breast Cancer, was well received. She is also currently teaching a Chair Yoga class at the Mayo Clinic, Jacksonville.


Kristin is a licensed clinical social worker and holistic health coach, who specializes in both oncology social work and mind-body interventions that enhance stress resiliency and post-traumatic growth. She works part-time at Mayo Clinic Florida and has a private practice in the heart of Riverside. In 2019, Kristin was hired as the first Mind-Body Medicine Counselor for Mayo Clinic Florida, and supported a wide array of patient populations including but not limited to: Executive Health, Women’s Health, Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, Chronic Pelvic Pain, and Breast Cancer. She was later appointed an Instructor in Medicine at Mayo Clinic’s College of Medicine and Science, where she served as faculty for the EDS Living Program and Medical Breast Training Program. Kristin has also taught social work practice at the university-level, both at the University of North Florida and Florida State University. Her commitment to cultivating conscious & embodied clinical social workers is one of her many passions.
