Chloe Triantafillis, MA, C-IAYT graduated from CPF Oncology Yoga training June 14, 2026. She is a C-IAYT yoga therapist and also holds an MA in dance/movement education. As a yoga therapist, she works with both individuals and groups to help people use the healing tools of yoga to ease their suffering.

In her words-

Breast Cancer Survivor

As a breast cancer survivor myself, I experienced firsthand how yoga offered me ways to participate in my own healing--physically, emotionally, and mentally.  My own yoga practice brought me both peace and power during a challenging time, and I am excited to guide others along their yoga journeys.

Stony Brook University Hospital

Once I complete training, I plan to teach yoga for cancer support classes at Stony Brook University Hospital, a local teaching hospital where I received treatment.  One of my future professional goals is to go to nursing school (following the LPN-RN-BSN pathway) and pursue holistic nursing in the oncology field, using yoga therapy to support traditional clinical care.

On a personal level, I am a mom of four! My children are 18, 16, 15, and 11. My son will be attending Stony Brook University in the fall to study computer engineering. In their own ways and in their own lives, my children (and my husband!) have benefitted hugely from learning yoga tools and techniques, and they are so supportive of my interest in yoga for cancer support!
