In her Words
Hi, I'm Amber, and I'm so glad you're here.
I believe it's possible to create a life that feels good to live. That belief has guided my own journey and has become the foundation of my work as a yoga therapist, holistic coach, and founder of Come As You Are Yoga.
Stress Management
Like many women, I spent years in a fast-paced corporate career, constantly balancing responsibilities and pushing through stress. It wasn't until I discovered yoga that I realized health is about so much more than flexibility or exercise. My practice relieved chronic headaches and back pain helped me build resilience, and gave me the tools to navigate life's challenges with greater strength, confidence, and clarity. It changed the direction of my life.
Yoga for Women
For more than 11 years, I've had the privilege of teaching yoga and supporting people through life's transitions. My work blends therapeutic yoga, holistic coaching, nervous system regulation, mindfulness, and practical lifestyle tools to help people reduce pain, improve mobility, strengthen relationships, and reconnect with themselves. My passion is helping women discover that aging doesn't have to mean inevitable decline, and that with the right support our bodies remain adaptable, resilient, and capable.
Breast Cancer and Yoga
For the past 10 years, I've specialized in yoga for cancer therapy, and during the last six years I've worked primarily alongside women, many of whom have been, affected by breast cancer. Walking with women through diagnosis, treatment, recovery, and survivorship has deepened my understanding of the physical, emotional, and relational impact of cancer. It has also strengthened my commitment to making safe, evidence-informed yoga accessible to every woman who could benefit from it.
Yoga Therapist
I hold an E-RYT 500 and IAYT Yoga Therapy certifications and have completed advanced training in Happy Back Yoga, Yoga for Cancer Therapy, Yoga Wellness Coaching, Yoga Wall Therapeutics, Yoga of Recovery, Healing with Chakras, iRest Yoga Nidra, Restorative Yoga, Life Coaching, and FasterEFT. While I continue to value lifelong learning, I believe the greatest teachers have been the hundreds of students and clients who have trusted me to walk alongside them.
Christina Phipps Foundation
I feel truly honored to be part of the Christina Phipps Foundation community. Their mission of making therapeutic yoga accessible to women undergoing treatment for breast cancer reflects the values that have shaped my career: compassion, accessibility, community, and hope. I look forward to helping more women discover that healing is not only possible—it is something we can nurture together.
I can't wait to meet you.
