Amanda Bush, CPF in Gainesville and UF

Amanda Bush, M.Ed., RYT 500, graduated from the Christina Phipps Foundation Oncology Yoga training on June 14, 2026. With over 20 years of experience as a classroom teacher (ret.), she brings a nurturing, accessible approach to her teaching.
In addition to her training with CPF, Amanda completed Mindful Yoga for Cancer and Chronic Conditionstraining, facilitated by Tammy Bernard and Sharon Locke (both speakers at CPF Training in 2023), in January 2024. She is also certified in Chair Yoga.
UF Health Shands
Amanda is a Yoga Practitioner at UF Health Shands in Gainesville, Florida, with the Arts in Medicine Program. She facilitates gentle movement and breathwork sessions for patients and care partners at the bedside. She also holds regular chair yoga classes for staff members.
Wildflowers Yoga
Additionally, Amanda leads vinyasa, yin, and restorative yoga classes at Wildflowers Yoga and Gainesville Health and Fitness. She also leads gentle flow and restorative classes for a group of Seniors at Oak Hammock Senior Living at the University of Florida in Gainesville.
In addition to her work in the community, Amanda hosts private classes and workshops centered on women’s well-being.
In her words-
“While I enjoy an invigorating flow class, I have a deep appreciation for the benefits of slow and still practices. I engage in breathwork, meditation, Yin, and restorative practices regularly to soothe my nervous system. I love my work at the hospital as it allows me to witness the benefits of these practices on the well-being of people in the clinical setting.”
