Toni Robinette graduated CPF Oncology Yoga training on April 13, 2025. She teaches at Charlene's Dream in Daytona, FL.
In her words:
Twenty years ago I was diagnosed with rectal cancer. This changed my athletic status as I could no longer play nor officiate. I was fortunate to survive that journey. Then, several years later, in my darkest moments, I found my way to yoga. Yoga changed my life in such a magnificent way. Yoga could help me out of the darkness and into the light. If it helps me, then it is something special.
I was drawn to become a teacher. I trained under Deva Parnell, of Discovery Yoga in St. Augustine, Florida and was certified in Kripalu Yoga. I taught for several years then faced some serious challenges and was lost again.
After having survived another round of cancer, I am again on my yogic path. I am now certified in Christina Phipps Oncology Yoga and am teaching weekly at Charlene's Dream in Daytona and enjoying my yoga community!
