Hi, I’m Selama! I’m a yoga teacher, licensed massage therapist, and certified manual lymph drainage therapist. I first found my way into the wellness world through yoga, with my yoga journey starting through YouTube classes as a form of exercise. It didn’t take long to realized that it was the perfect mental and life practice as well. After a few years of practicing at home, I finally took my first studio class, which eventually led to completing my first teacher training. I went into yoga teacher training not to teach, but to gain a deeper understanding for my personal practice. After seeing how natural and transformative teaching was for me, I decided that the best way to continue my journey was to help others connect with their own practice. I now hope to introduce yoga to people who otherwise wouldn't think to try it and am excited to create a safe, genuine, and fun space for anyone willing to learn. 

She is offering a FREE 90 minute class series at Switzer Library in Marietta.

What: Yoga for the Cancer Community

Where: Switzer Library. 266 Roswell St NE, Marietta, GA 30060

When: Every Saturday in June at 1:00pm-2:30pm.

June 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27, 2026

Details: This 90 minute class series is open to anyone in the cancer community (including but not limited to patients, survivors, family, friends, caregivers, medical professionals, etc).

Each class will include time for meditation, breathwork, stretching, joint mobility, and gentle strengthening and balancing, all to promote healing, mindfulness, and a sense of community. This class is available to all fitness levels and yoga experiences. Please bring a mat, and if you'd like, whatever will make you comfortable during meditations and breathwork (pillows/bolsters, blankets, etc.).
