Sandra began practicing yoga over 20 years ago at her first duty station Eielson, Air Force Base, Alaska. Since then she practiced off and on, but developed a stronger and more consistent practice to get through the stress of graduate school.

In May 2025, she completed her 200 hr YTT with Living Balance Studios in Fayetteville, NC.

Prior to this journey she spent 9 years in the Air Force and later earned her Bachelors of Science and Masters in Marine Science from UNCW. When she isn't on her mat, she loves knitting, crocheting, reading, cooking, and spending time with her family. You can find her on Instagram @sandradyogi
