Board Member Aishwarya Kunta, DO

Aishwarya Kunta, DO, RYT-200 found her love for yoga at the University of Florida in 2017. After completing her yoga teacher training, she worked at UF’s Rec Sports teaching a broad variety of yoga classes. She taught Vinyasa, Power, Hatha, and Acro yoga classes for 2 years. After receiving training to teach Ariel Yoga, she lead small-group classes at UF as she shared her love for this unique form of yoga.


Her passion for health care and accessibility inspired her to collaborate with UF’s Disability Resource Center to offer a series of chair yoga classes for people with physical and mental disabilities.


During her time as a medical student at ACOM, she helped organize ACOM Yoga, a yoga program designed to improve the wellbeing of the staff and students on campus. At ACOM, Aishwarya had the opportunity to deepen her understanding of the intersection between medicine and yoga by taking the CPF Oncology Yoga teacher yoga training. She taught Oncology Yoga with a team at ACOM.


She is working as a doctor at Emory Family Medicine in Atlanta, GA. She looking forward to bringing the Oncology Yoga CPF Teacher Training to Atlanta, GA in 2026. She will again help to organize yoga for the local community and spread the mission of the Christina Phipps Foundation in Georgia.
