Mary Linn, CPF in Florida

Mary Linn graduated from the Christina Phipps Foundation Oncology Yoga training June 14, 2026. She has been teaching yoga since her 2018 Yoga Alliance 200 YTT certification from Two Suns Rising.

Now a Yoga Teacher

After teaching mathematics for 40 years, Mary became inspired to motivate and inspire students through the power of yoga to help them achieve balance of mind and body. She uses her four decades of classroom instruction to welcome students of all ages and levels to practice Hatha yoga. Guiding her students in a flow of stretching, breathing and moving through yoga postures in a mindful way. Whether she is giving private lessons to a teenager, small group classes in her living room, a fitness center or the library where she has been giving a free yoga class each week since certification, Mary encourages and empowers each student as she guides them towards transforming each class into the student’s personal practice.

Inspired by Covid and to encourage her students to practice yoga consistently, Mary created and posted a few of her classes on her YouTube channel. These classes include a class familiar to students who have practiced with her, a chair yoga class to encourage her 90-year-old Mom to practice with her and a class collaboration with her yoga certified niece, Lauren, which focuses on building bone density.
