Jessica Otieno is the founder of Many Paths Wellness, a community-centered yoga and wellness studio in Roswell, Georgia. With over a decade of experience teaching yoga, she is passionate about helping people reconnect with themselves through movement, breath, meditation, and nervous system regulation.

Many Paths Wellness

Before founding Many Paths Wellness, Jessica worked in public service, including roles with the U.S. Department of Labor, the U.S. Department of State, AmeriCorps, and the Peace Corps in Kenya. Her experiences working with diverse communities strengthened her belief that healing, resilience, and human connection are universal needs.

Holistic Healing

Jessica's path into yoga was shaped by her own healing journey. After experiencing significant trauma early in life and navigating years of stress-related health challenges, she discovered firsthand the transformative power of yoga as a holistic system for healing—not simply as exercise, but as a practice that supports the body, mind, emotions, and spirit.

Jessica has been practicing yoga for more than 20 years and teaching since 2014. Over the years, she has completed extensive training in Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Kundalini Yoga, meditation, breathwork, Reiki, subtle energy practices, trauma-informed approaches, and nervous system regulation. Her work is informed by thousands of hours of study, practice, and teaching, as well as her own lived experience of healing and transformation.

Over the years, Jessica has also witnessed the impact of cancer within her own circle of family, friends, and community. Like many people, she has experienced the heartbreak of watching loved ones navigate diagnosis, treatment, recovery, and loss. Those experiences deepened her desire to better understand health, healing, and the many factors that influence well-being.

Her personal experiences led her to explore approaches that complement conventional medical care and support quality of life. While she deeply values modern medicine and the lifesaving care it provides, she believes healing is most effective when we care for the whole person—not only the physical body, but also the emotional, mental, social, and spiritual dimensions of life.

Jessica's teaching integrates movement, breath, meditation, mindfulness, and subtle energy awareness to help students cultivate resilience, self-trust, and connection. She is particularly drawn to working with individuals experiencing stress, anxiety, life transitions, chronic health challenges, and those seeking a deeper relationship with themselves.

Throughout her years of teaching, she has witnessed the profound impact that simple practices—breathing, gentle movement, rest, and compassionate presence—can have during difficult seasons of life.

Yoga for Cancer

Jessica is honored to complete the Christina Phipps Foundation Yoga for Cancer training and looks forward to offering specialized yoga support for individuals navigating cancer, survivors, and caregivers in her community. Through Many Paths Wellness, she hopes to help create a future where supportive practices like yoga are more accessible and integrated into the broader conversation around health, healing, and quality of life.
