Vicki Rockwell graduated from CPF Oncology Yoga training on January 28, 2024. Her training was held at the AdventHealth Celebration location in Celebration, Florida on January 27 and 28, 2024.
In her words: as a Registered Nurse I’ve gained a deeper insight into how precious life truly is. I believe an approach that balances modern and holistic medicines results in happier, healthier lives.
My yoga practice began in 2010 when I attended a class and felt very much at home. Over the years, my daily practice ebbed and flowed due to various life circumstances but I always returned to it.
Along with yoga and healthy eating, my husband Will and I enjoy taking time for hiking, kayaking, and strolls on the beach. Time spent with my grown son and daughter, Cassidy and Maggie, still sends me over the moon.
In 2023 I completed my 200-hour yoga Teacher Training at Horizon House Yoga in Ormond Beach, FL under the instruction of Shelly Kwiatkouski. The experience was wonderfully eye and heart opening and I am very grateful!
The hatha yoga style I will bring to my students will be one of gentleness, encouragement, and fun in a safe and nurturing environment. We don’t all have to wear yoga pants and practice on a mat; yoga is for everyone anywhere. It is a life practice that I am very excited to share with others.
