Location: Start at Orange Park Kennel Club, out and back course on the St. Johns River.

The Mission of the annual Pink Ribbon Symposium,
a non-profit organization organized in 2008,
is dedicated to educating the
Northeast Florida community on recent
advances and related topics in the detection,
treatment and survivor-ship of breast cancer.

Teacher Training
Day 1 will be held at the Mayo Clinic in
Jacksonville, Florida
on May 9, 2015, 7:30 am to 4 pm.
Day 2 will be held at Yoga Den in Mandarin,
on May 31, 2015, from 12 noon to 3 pm.
Check your calendar to see if you can
attend both sessions
before submitting your application.

26 weeks of CPF yoga classes go to the website.

Graduates will begin teaching CPF classes the week of June 1, 2015.
The certification is recognized by the Yoga Alliance.
Yoga instructors can earn 10-15 continuing education
credits by becoming CPF certified.

Teacher Training
We are now recruiting Yoga Teachers
to train with us on Nov. 1 and Nov. 16, 2014.
The CPF certification is provided free of charge
and we then ask each teacher to volunteer
teaching yoga to cancer patients for
26 weeks in one of the ongoing classes
or in a new location.

NAS Jacksonville Breast Cancer Day
from 9am to 1 pm.
Volunteers are needed to set up at 9 am
and be in place by 9:30 am that morning.
Because the event takes placeon the Navy base, volunteers need to be named ahead of time.

The Riverside Arts Market will serve as the gathering place for hundreds of
North Florida yogis for Yoga Day.
The event will feature classes and demonstrations for all ages and skill levels
in a variety of genres, from Prenatal and Kids’ Yoga to Chanting and Power Yoga.
As always, RAM’s community of artists, food artists, food vendors and farmer/growers will
be selling their unique creations and entertainment will abound under the
canopy of the Fuller Warren Bridge.
